Hi, I’m Steph.
I’m an educator, writer, mentor, and facilitator with 15 years of experience helping young people find their voices, build confidence, and discover what they are capable of. I have two daughters and am deeply invested in the work of fostering community for our children.
My work has always lived at the intersection of learning and relationship—I believe that some of the most important things we learn happen when we feel safe enough to be curious, ask hard questions, take risks, and be fully ourselves.
I bring years of experience designing curriculum, teaching, mentoring, and creating spaces where different kinds of learners can thrive. I’m deeply grounded in thoughtful pedagogy, culturally responsive practice, and the belief that every young person deserves to be seen as a whole person—not simply as a student. I know how to create structure while leaving room for play, exploration, uncertainty, and the unexpected discoveries that make meaningful learning possible.
These girls’ groups grew out of my belief that girls need one another. In a world increasingly shaped by screens, algorithms, comparison, and outside expectations, girls need real places to gather, get curious, move their bodies, spend time in nature, speak honestly, and learn to trust themselves. My role isn’t to tell girls who they should become. It’s to create the conditions for them to listen closely enough to themselves—and to one another—to begin discovering who they already are.
I bring both the experience of an educator and the heart of a mentor to this work. I understand how to hold a group, how to ask the question beneath the question, how to make space for the quiet girl and the loud one, and how to help young people move through challenge without losing their sense of themselves. Most of all, I believe girls deserve a community where they can be known, supported, challenged, celebrated, and reminded that they never have to navigate becoming themselves alone— and one in which they learn how to do this for others.
